I teach composition, literature, research, critical thinking, and technical and professional writing courses both online and on campus at a community college in Silicon Valley. My scholarship explores the intersection and divergence of late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century American regional fiction and cartography, primarily of the western United States. I received my PhD in English from Washington State University.
