Amber LaPiana

Amber received her PhD in English from Washington State University. Her scholarship explores the intersection and divergence of late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century American regional fiction and cartography, primarily of the western United States. She teaches composition, literature, research, critical thinking, and technical and professional writing courses both online and on campus.

She is also, at times, a freelance writer and editor.
